VSE Corporation and Rick Levin & Associates, Inc. will conduct an auction of seized and forfeited property on behalf of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The auction will take place at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the VSE Warehouse, in Riverside, CA.
The 150 lots featuring thousands of collector coins and currency, including:
- 118 Greek and Roman Coins, Est. 200BC – 200AD
- 960 Canadian Silver Dollars, Mixed Dates
- 87 Morgan, Peace Dollars, Mixed Dates
- 460 Barber, Standing Liberty, and Washington Quarters, Mixed Dates
- Many More Silver, Gold, Bulk, and Novelty Coins
These first 150 lots to be auctioned were forfeited by a coin store owner who is serving 37 years in prison for drug trafficking, possession of illegal guns, and money laundering. This is the last auction of the coins, which will complete the largest quantity of coins auctioned by VSE & Rick Levin for the Department of Treasury.

Proceeds from the auction are returned to the U.S. Treasury's Asset Forfeiture Fund for the continuation of law enforcement efforts by the participating agencies: U.S. Customs & Border Protection, Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Internal Revenue Service and Secret Service.
Previews of the coins will take place at the VSE Riverside Warehouse located at 6681 River Run Road, Riverside, CA 92507 on Monday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration begins at 8 a.m. day of sale. There are no property previews on sale day.
